[Resolved] Field of view

Postby genc22 » Sun Jun 19, 2016 12:09 am

After 1st change of season to winter sight range gets heavily increased and it allows to see through tree walls, and it stays that way which makes game relly hard to even try to hide.

Considering log, date from the filename and single message, it is probably the game played by darknessangel, bajsmacka, beardhammer, beornn, foxsky, pro_mixon, child_fukcer, bstffn98. Is that Right?

This bug has been tentatively confirmed. After discussing with Jesse_James, he appropriately identified this visual bug as a fault of the terrain swap during season changes since trees are all removed and replaced.

Edit: I believe I have fixed this bug. Seasons will now change by quadrants of the map, and vision is properly restricted so you will no longer be able to see your neighbors across trees while they are being replaced! Leaving topic unlocked because this is an ancient problem and I'd like more thorough testing done.
