Hi, just wanted to ask if you somehow reduced the % to catch fish. cause since the last update i dont get as much fish anymore somehow.

ok because even with the fish bait that should have a 50% chance i have often that problem that i dont catch anything many times in a row. Yesterday someone wrote the same, no catch after 7 times or so.

Unfortunately it is entirely within the realm of statistical possibility to hit 0 fish with 100 attempts. Each attempt has a 50% chance. This chance is neither influenced by the previous attempt or the next one. The good news is that it is equally likely to hit 100 fish in 100 attempts. These events are rare but possible. With enough attempts it should average out to 50%. 0 out of 10 attempts might look awful but 10 out of 20 (which contains the same 10 failed attempts) would still be 50%. The mind takes more notice of 10 failed attempts in a row than it does an alternating 1 catch, 1 fail, which would still be 50% after 20 attempts.

Fishing is important enough that the chance should be psuedorandom. I no longer go fishing just because if you get 0 fish before the first night then you're far behind (entirely possible if using Designer Bait which is the better bait by EV).
Psuedorandom distribution just means whenever the event fails, the events success rate increments by the original success rate. So if you have a 25% chance base, you'll have a 50% chance after 1 failed catch, 75% after 2, and 100% after 3. The base % might have to be adjusted to account for psuedorandom, but psuedorandom would be a big improvement (DotA uses psuedorandom for all chance abilities like bash).
