i run unbuntu, might be noob mode but its also got the biggest ppa support and i have a few too many ppas

I'd prefer Ubuntu, as it seems more professional. And it was made by an African space tourist.

well Ubuntu does mean unity, and Ubuntu's default GUI is currently Unity. always found that a tad be funny, but i run gnome-shell... ive tried others but when i first found a gnome-shell ppa and used it, I LOVED IT... when it worked, it was a very early beta build i first found and was very prone to crashing randomly. since then i just cant stand the hassle of lack of ease KDE/Unity/Aero(windows) and others GUIs have...

oh, used a mac for about an hour in my live and the one button mouse(this was a while back) really got to me... needed my two button mouse(didnt have a scroll wheel back then)
