Colour Codes

Postby Slayer4000X2008 » Wed Apr 21, 2010 8:04 pm

Ok so for those of you who don't know how to write colour codes this tutorial will be very useful and very simple.

<hr />
Ok to start a colour code you will need '|c', if you don't know how make the '|' well here's how, hold shift and press the back slash (\). Next comes the making of the colour, a colour code use's four sets of numbers/letters that range from 0-9 and A-F (if you want a darker colour you should use the numbersand a lighter colour the letters). Now the first two numbers/letters are for the level of transparency but for that you can put in anything and it will not affect the colour in any way. The second part is the amount of red you want, so if you put DD then you would have a small amount of red and if you but 33 then you have a lot of red. The next two are green and blue and they work the same way as red.

Here is a list of colours for each player colour in game.
  • |cffFF0000RED|r
  • |cff0000FFBlue|r
  • |cff33FFFFTeal|r
  • |cff660099Purple|r
  • |cffFFFF00Yellow|r
  • |cffFF6600Orange|r
  • |cff00FF00Green|r
  • |cffFF66FFPink|r
  • |cff999999Gray|r
  • |cff99CCFFLight Blue|r
  • |cff003300Dark Green|r
  • |cff663300Brown|r

Before this gets out of hand with un-need posts I have closed the topic. Also I have deleted all but Jesse's and Duckne's post's as they have use for getting colours.
